Men’s Basketball Schedule Revealed
Sooners will face Arizona, Arkansas, Gonzaga, Utah, UTEP and VCU during non-conference slate.

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma men’s basketball team has announced its 14-game 2009-10 non-conference schedule, which will feature seven home contests, three games in the Great Alaska Shootout and three road games against 2009 NCAA Tournament teams.
The Sooners, who went 30-6 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight last season, will play at least six teams that advanced to postseason play a year ago and possibly a seventh if it meets Washington State in the Great Alaska Shootout.
Featured games include back-to-back home outings against Arizona (in the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series) and Arkansas, and road contests against a trio of teams in VCU, Utah and Gonzaga that combined to go 76-26 last season.
The Sooners will play three games in the Great Alaska Shootout Nov. 25-28, including contests against San Diego (16-16 last year) and Houston (21-12) in the first two rounds. They will face Washington State (17-16), Nicholls State (20-11) or Alaska Anchorage (15-14) in the third round.
UTEP (23-14) will be OU’s opponent in the All-College Classic Dec. 21 in Oklahoma City.
