Sooners Host No. 23 Aggies on Senior Day
The OU men’s basketball team closes the regular season Saturday when No. 23 Texas A&M visits Lloyd Noble Center at 11 a.m. CST. The Sooners, who have lost seven straight games, are tied with Texas Tech for ninth place in the Big 12 standings. OU could earn the No. 9 seed in next week’s Big 12 Championship with a win Saturday and a Colorado victory over Texas Tech. Otherwise, the Sooners will be the No. 10 seed. Texas A&M, which has won seven of its last nine games, is 3-4 in Big 12 road contests.

Sooners Hang with No. 1 Kansas, Fall on Road 81-68
Xavier Henry scored 18 of his 23 points in the first half and No. 1 Kansas clinched at least a share of its sixth straight Big 12 regular season title with an easy 81-68 victory over Oklahoma on Monday night. Kansas (27-1, 13-0) didn’t wait to clinch its latest title, sewing it up with three games left after doing it in the final week the past three seasons. The Jayhawks overwhelmed overmatched Oklahoma (13-14, 4-9) from the start, building a 17-point lead in the first half and shooting 51 percent overall to extend the Sooners’ Lawrence losing streak to 10 games.
